Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Speech Pathologist for a contract position in Hanford, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapy sessions to patients, employing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families about communication disorders and therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
