Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis
Location: Tehachapi, CA, USA
Shift: Candidates are required to float to CVN locations (Hanford, Tulare, Reedley, Selma). Home base is Hanford. Start times vary between 6 AM and 9 AM, based on daily census.
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis to join our team in Tehachapi, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in dialysis care and the flexibility to float between multiple clinic locations, primarily based in Hanford. This position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
- Assess patients’ conditions before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions during treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care practices.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Float to various CVN locations (Hanford, Tulare, Reedley, Selma) as needed, adapting to the specific needs of each facility.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in dialysis preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
