Salary Range: $50 - $60 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cath Lab to join our team in Sonora, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and administration of cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in the state of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on cardiac catheterization or related cardiac care preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
