Job Summary:
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Radiologic Technologist specializing in Diagnostic Imaging to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and supporting special procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including interventional radiology (IR), angiography, cardiology, and neuro procedures.
- Operate various imaging equipment, including Toshiba and Phillips systems, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Assist in special procedures and support the healthcare team during interventions.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing patient concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards in the imaging department.
- Document all procedures accurately in patient records and maintain equipment according to departmental policies.
- Be available for on-call shifts, with the ability to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes when called.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) with a valid California license.
- Fluoroscopy license must be in hand at the time of application.
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is highly preferred.
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment and performing special procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
