Position Title: Travel Radiation Therapist

Salary Range: $60 - $70 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Radiation Therapist to join our team in The Dalles, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality radiation therapy services and will be committed to supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment, ensuring accurate delivery of radiation doses.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, following safety protocols.
- Monitor patients during treatment and provide support to address any concerns or side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, patient responses, and any changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist in Oregon.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- Previous experience in radiation therapy preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
