Qualifications:
- Credential: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or Licensed Dietitian.
Responsibilities:
- Nutritional Care: Conduct quality and regulatory assurance reviews of food and nutrition services, including sanitation, food storage, preparation, and dining services.
- Consultation: Provide nutrition education and counseling for residents/consumers and in-service staff.
- Problem-Solving: Assist facilities in identifying nutritional problem areas and developing effective solutions to improve overall care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized nutrition plans for patients.
- Stay current with dietary trends and regulations to ensure compliance with standards.
