Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Quincy, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, although exceptional candidates with a minimum of six months of experience will be considered.
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing personalized care plans for various patient populations within an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and therapy support staff.
- Ensure accurate billing within the setting, adhering to facility guidelines.
- Understand and comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the respective PT board in your state.
- Collaborate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to develop a team-focused plan of care.
- Evaluate patients and create tailored plans of care based on individual needs.
- Modify treatment plans as necessary, based on ongoing assessments of patient conditions.
- Utilize Medical Center computer systems for documentation and daily tasks.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and insurance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- State-specific licensing as required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
