We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.
DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you.
You will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Requirements
- Team is looking for DevOps Engineers to support our rapid growth and expansion.
- This role will be key part of the Infrastructure Engineering team with a broad impact across product and customer experiences.
- Gather requirements, build infrastructure and tooling to support product initiatives.
- Be a conduit for technical expertise in liaising with external Client partners.
- Provide technical guidance, solving expertise, and architectural insight to development, quality, and site reliability teams.
- Solve complex problems using both open-source and in-house tooling to support security and business initiatives.
- Build applications and tools to reduce barriers, decrease friction and speed up delivery of products.
- Scale existing technologies (or promote new technologies) to out-pace current growth projections.
- Evangelize next generation cloud and DevOps products and processes, experiment with their implementation and bring them to fruition.
Experience
- In depth knowledge of: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS. Ability to write Dockerfiles and Kubernetes yaml definitions from scratch.
- Expert in Ansible. Should be able to write automation playbooks for Ansible.
- Well versed in Linux compute, networking, storage, and DB's (SQL and NoSQL).
- In depth knowledge of Spinnaker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- In depth knowledge of GitHub, Maven, Gradle.
- Excellent scripting skills in Python, Golang and Bash.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with Dev, QA, and SRE teams.
Preferred
- Experience with the HashiCorp stack - Nomad, Consul, Vault is a plus.
- Comfortable working with large-scale multi-cloud deployments.
- Understanding the security and compliance aspects of DevOps.
- Strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a short time.
